Many of us flinch when we hear terms like depreciation, cash flow, balance sheet and (worst of all!) budgets. However, these are all important concepts to understand if you’re going to succeed in today’s tribal organization, particularly as a supervisor or program specialist. Come find out that financial terms are not as scary as they seem! You’ll get an overview of all the important financial concepts you need to do your job well. In this insightful training, you’ll develop a basic understanding of indirect costs, learn how to modify budgets (carry over money), find out what the “General Fund” means, and develop knowledge of the Single Audit Act and its requirements.
