This class offers a state-of-the-art approach for developing grants with a strong emphasis on using program outcome measurement to underscore need and accountability. We’ll focus on the development of grant proposals and program evaluation, offering grant seekers the practical guidance you need to develop quality proposals, obtain funding, and demonstrate service results and accountability. This course will further illustrate and define each stage of the grant writing and evaluation process.
Through interactive exercises that utilize recent grant FOA or NOFA application guidelines and funded proposals, we’ll explore common problems and challenges that arise in the grant proposal development process. We’ll develop a work plan for proposal development, review key proposal sections, and develop an evaluation rubric, Gantt chart or logic model.

The third day of this class is designed to provide hands on, targeted consulting on current grant opportunities, researching appropriate grant resources and decision-making on application, analysis of past non-funded proposals or those you are currently developing, and OMB Circulars and their impact on Budget Development.
